Dr. Chang is a practicing anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist. After his training from Cornell Medical Center in New York, he taught at Yale Medical School as assistant clinical professor and went on to become the Medical Director of Summit Surgical Center in Voorhees, New Jersey. Under his direction, the ASC developed into one of the largest surgical centers in the country with over 17,000+ outpatient surgical procedures annually.
Since 1975, Dr. Chang has also practiced pain management as a sub-specialty.
Through many years of experience in treating numerous pain related problems, he has gained extensive knowledge in the effective application of electrical nerve stimulation for pain control.
From 1985 to 2003, Dr. Chang was the director and founder of New Jersey Pain Management Center. He has previously treated or directed the treatment of thousands of acute and chronic pain patients, achieving a reputation for excellent outcomes.
